Sponsor a Garden: Organic Garden Accessibility Program
At The Good Shit, we believe that everyone deserves to participate in gardening and enjoy the many benefits it has to offer. In collaboration with passionate individuals and local businesses, we are dedicated to supporting families facing financial challenges by providing them with sustainable organic garden kits.
About the Program
In today's economic landscape, many families struggle to access fresh, nutritious food. Our Sponsor a Garden initiative aims to address this issue by offering families the resources they need to start their own gardens at home.
How it Works
When you sponsor a garden, you're providing families with the tools and materials necessary to grow their own food. Your sponsorship covers the cost of a complete garden kit, including a cedar bed customized to fit the recipient's space and physical accessibility needs, certified organic seedlings, premium soil mix, planting instructions, and delivery.
We will share the impact of your donation through regular updates, showcasing the progress and stories of the families benefiting from the program. As a thank you, individuals will receive a curated selection of heirloom vegetable seeds. Businesses will receive recognition on our social media and web pages.
The Impact
By sponsoring a garden, you're not only helping families put food on the table – you're also fostering empowerment and resilience. Gardens not only offer fresh produce and nutritional security, but also promote physical activity, community building, stress relief, and valuable learning opportunities. Your contribution has the power to transform lives and communities, one garden at a time.
Get Involved
Join us in making a difference! Whether you're an individual, a business, or an organization, there are various ways to support our Sponsor a Garden initiative. You can sponsor a garden directly, donate gardening supplies, or volunteer your time to help with distribution. Together, we can work towards a brighter and more food-secure future for everyone, while also doing something good for the planet.
You can choose to sponsor a full kit ($350) or contribute any amount towards one.
